This collection of music was during Eye Of The Day's early, innocent days when their musical approach started as simple and the process was non-structured, abstract and as they like to say, "intuitive". Although they still create their music by keeping it simple and intuitively experimental, they have grown to truly feel their sounds and structure them into memorable treasures.
They recorded countless jams/songs over a span of about five years ever since they started their band back in late January 2006. With the help of simple tape recorders, video cameras and any other recording device that allowed them to capture their music "live", they documented years of practicing and playing their songs altogether.
It wasn't until late 2011 and early 2012 this D.I.Y band moved up to using a digital 4-track and began to record their songs in stereo instead of mono. Besides the low quality of E.O.T.D's music on this album, their variety of mesmerizing raw sounds delivers a pure rarity that speaks to the soul.
This quartet of girls (two pairs of sisters) from San Antonio, TX have kept their music unbounded to any type of image or music style and stayed away from limiting their music. E.O.T.D's music holds infinite possibilities, which is the message they want to send to all, that there's many ways to do many things. Their music will no longer go unheard.
...And so "Knee-jerk Monophonic White Spaces: Volume I" has been born, E.O.T.D's first home-made album with Volume 2 on it's way late 2012. Thank you everyone for listening.



Please keep in mind All songs were recorded with tape recorders and video cameras in a "live" setting. Due to how these songs were recorded, you will hear imperfections like static sounds and clipping noises. These songs are some of E.O.T.D's first songs created and they will love to share them. Enjoy.
